Izah the Golden
Former Aspis Consortium Member
A cruel efreeti noble once operating within the higher echelon of the Aspis Consortium in search of lost knowledge from the continent of Arcadia. When he was waylaid and robbed by a mysterious figure in a gold owl mask, Izah's dark dealings were made public, forcing the Aspis Consortium to blacklist him and liquidate his known associates. Izah escaped a similar fate thanks to the mercy of Cassius Avignone, a mercy Izah repaid in part before casting plane shift and escaping justice.

When he discovered Professor Alistair Delgado in Almas, Izah followed his longtime nemesis by tracking Cassius' implements. When the party reached the ruins of Anen-Preszcha, Izah ambushed them and was last seen confronting the Professor.
Lycara Sandein
Hellknight Signifer, Order of the Nail
A ruthless aasimar Hellknight in service to the Order of the Nail. She accompanied Izah on his expedition to Arcadia but was thrown overboard during the altercation with the man in the gold owl mask and has not been seen since.
Adelard Laurent
Cyphermage
A cold and calculating arcanist who traveled to Arcadia to assist Izah in his expedition. Adelard survived the destruction of Izah's flagship but fell into the custody of the Church of Razmir where he was secretly experimented on by Herald Rysev. These experiments claimed Adelard's left arm and right leg. After Rysev's defeat, Adelard was in the protective custody of the Eagle Knights where he brokered a deal to return back to the Aspis Consortium after becoming state's evidence against Izah.

In the year since those events, Adelard has returned to active duty with the Consortium and is currently operating in Osirion.
Auressa Millen
Almas Aristocrat, Chelish Expatriate
An immigrant from Cheliax. Former matriarch of the now-vanquished Pontecorvo family. Her family history hides many secrets. She is a close family friend of Knight-Captain Calisaria Reinn and credits her for she and her family's escape from Cheliax.
Auressa is also a member of the Secretkeepers, a covenant of Norgorber worshippers who seek to keep dangerous magic and artifacts from the hands of those who would abuse them at any cost.
Jorge Millen
Almas Aristocrat, Chelish Expatriate
Son of Auressa Millen. A young man born possessed by a fiend. He struggles against a dual nature of inherent malevolence and nurtured goodness. When his partner Velis was murdered, Jorge vowed to exact revenge on whoever was responsible.
After defeating the Demon of Almas, Jorge enlisted in the Andoren Military to join the war against Cheliax.
Gedrick DuClaire (Deceased)
Physician & Serial Killer
A reclusive live-in physician at the Shalebridge Orphanage. Gedrick was involved in the deaths of dozens of—if not more—displaced and orphaned children over the last few decades while laboring under the delusion that reality is a lie constructed by beings beyond known time and space and that only in death is anyone truly free. Gedrick was radicalized into this belief by his uncle Jardain Dolin, a devotee of the Outer God, Yog-Sothoth. After a swift trial, Gedrick was found guilty on all counts and was executed by hanging on the 16th of Kuthona, 4734 AR.
Mother Wylder (Deceased)
Headmistress of the Shalebridge Orphanage
A cruel and heartless woman wrongfully allowed to care for the well-being of vulnerable orphans. She was slowly poisoned to death by Gedrick DuClaire for unknown reasons. On her deathbed, Mother Wylder bequeathed a mysterious locked to Bethil, claiming she was left at the orphanage with it as a baby.
Reginald Cormoth
Former Knight-General of the Eagle Knights
A venerable paladin of Iomedae whose long life has forced him to make hard decisions for the greater good. He has led the Eagle Knights for over thirty years and is fighting against calls to retire. Having survived the battle with the Demon of Almas, Cormoth officially retired and appointed Calisaria Reinn as his replacement.
Calisaria Reinn
Knight-General of the Eagle Knights
A long-time member of the Eagle Knights whose dedication to her country is unwavering. She is rumored to have been a long-time undercover operative stationed in Cheliax in the years leading up to the Second Chelish Civil War. Since returning to Andoran a hero there have been numerous calls for Calisaria to replace her friend Reginald Cormoth as Knight-General.

Following the defeat of the Demon of Almas, Calisaria has been appointed the title of Knight-General and commander of all Andoran's armies.
"Eren Rysev" (Deceased)
False Priest, Cultist
A cultist of the Fisher Kings, devoted to worship of a strange sea creature known as an aboleth. Following a massacre of his cult by the Almas City Watch, "Rysev" and his mother infiltrated the Church of Razmir and replaced its leaders. Here he masquerades as devout follower of the Living God, using his station to indoctrinate others and supplant them with mind-controlled slaves all while creating an undead abomination from surgically-harvested corpses. "Rysev's" was slain by his own creation after it was blinded and ran amok. His true identity and goals are unknown.
Alistair Delgado
Pathfinder
Alistair Delgado is a Pathfinder in search of the lost city of Anen-Preszcha and the Cloud Castle of the Storm King at its heart. Following the defeat of the Demon of Almas, he sought out the heroes responsible in the hopes they would help him on his journey to find the Castle, and his hopes were rewarded. But not as Alistair hoped. On finding the castle he was confronted by his former partner and nemesis Izah the Golden. Fearing the Castle falling into the wrong hands, the Professor held off Izah to buy the others time to escape.
Synar Diadlos
Razmir, the Living God
At some time in the past, the nobleman Synar Diadlos ventured into an ancient and forgotten city alongside Alistair Delgado and Izah the Golden. At some point after their return, Synar would adopt the mantle of Razmir the Living God and become one of the most notorious tyrants in the Inner Sea. Little else is known of his history.
Aldrin Delecroix
Knight-Marshall of the Eagle Knights, Golden Legion
Aldrin Delecroix is a constable within the Eagle Knights serving as a direct line of communication between the military of Andoran and the civilian militia that is the city watch. He is currently assigned to solve the serial murders believed to be perpetrated by the "Demon of Almas".

In the wake of the Demon of Almas' defeat, Knight-Marshall Delecroix has returned to his duties, keeping the city of Almas safe from threats within and without.
Jared Westin (Deceased)
Squire of the Eagle Knights, Golden Legion
Jared Westin was a graduate of the Almas Military Academy and recently-appointed Squire of the Eagle Knights. He died in the line of duty protecting a civilian from the "Demon of Almas."
Talisa Gwynn
Knight-Captain of the Eagle Knights, Twilight Talons
Talisa Gwynn is a Captain in Andoran's covert military intelligence bureau, once a state secret and now operating openly since the onset of the Second Chelish Civil War. She assisted in the recovery of the Infernis survivors and has since been in charge of security for a diplomatic summit happening in Almas.

In the wake of the Demon of Almas' defeat, Talisa was assigned to keep an eye on Chelish activity in the Inner Sea, but has become distracted by a lingering mystery surrounding the disappearance of Cassius Avignone and the other Heroes of Almas, and a strange letter written by Cassius from more than decade prior found in the Eagle Knights' archive.
Imagine Talisa's surprise when--in the middle of a dangerous operation in Osirion--she found herself face-to-face with Cassius again in the most unusual of circumstances.
Cadius
"The Master"
Cadius—a man otherwise known as "The Master"—is an enigmatic figure who has long sought the return of an ancient, forgotten people known as the Cathari. It was Cadius who orchestrated the murders in Almas, the theft of the Arcadian Grimoire from Izah, and a ritual that tore the Isle of Terror apart, all in search of keys to an ancient artifact known as the "Eye of Eternity."
"Balgus Geller"
Former Red Mantis Assassin
A worker at the Lightning Rail yard who abandoned Bethil at the Shalebridge Orphanage as a baby. After promising to tell Bethil the truth of her origins, he disappeared without a trace, claiming to have "unfinished business" in the north.

The truth of the matter is that Balgus Geller is an alias, one used by a former Red Mantis assassin named Kasaad, while acting as protector of Bethil. Balgus' true intentions are unknown, save that he was somehow present during the death of Bethil's parents.
Lydia
Tattoo Artist in Hiding
Lydia is a tattoo artist working at "Giordano's Tattoos and Body Art" in Almas. She has painstakingly reproduced the septegram symbol on ten people, based on a mark she bears at the back of her neck. She is on the run from something in her past, in the keeping of the Knights of the Bleeding Rose.

Following the defeat of the Demon of Almas, Lydia fled from Andoran to points unknown.
Wiirn
The Demon of Almas
A half black dragon gargoyle, Wiirn is the only surviving child of an ancient black dragon that laired in the sewers beneath Almas some time in the last thousand years. His mother was slain by a group of soldiers faithful to Iomedae who all died in the battle. Wiirn was raised by the lead soldier's intelligent holy avenger that taught the young hatchling survival, honor, and truth, guiding him to becoming a paladin. At some point the sword, which Wiirn calls "Voice", was stolen from his lair and he has not seen it since.
Having defeated the Demon of Almas and revealed himself to the people of the city, Wiirn has been anointed the "Protector of Andoran" and is seen as a folk hero, rather than a monster.
Count Gideon Hightower
Vampire Lord
Heir to the Hightower family name, Gideon is a powerful and influential member of Ustalavic politics. His family name casts a long shadow from Ustalav to Cheliax and is often overshadowed by the heroic words of his brother Ulysses, Lictor of the Hellknight Order of the Pyre that fights against Cheliax, or his mother Korva, Paralictor of the Hellknight Order of the Godclaw.

Rather than follow family history, Gideon has sought his own power behind the throne of Ustalav and with the enigmatic Secretkeepers of Norgorber. Gideon's true identity as a vampire lord is known only to his inner circle, and he somehow possesses the ability to move in broad daylight, masking his undeath with powerful illusions. Gideon's true motivations and goals are unknown.
Aithne Arabasti
Self-Exiled Princess of Korvosa
Aithne Arabasti is the daughter of the late King Eodred Arabasti and Queen Ileosa Arabasti. She fled Korvosa as a teenager with the man who would later become her husband, Jareth Revann. Aithne has long lived as Jareth's shadow as he pursued a career as a Pathfinder, following him into every ruin and often pulling him out of danger. She did as much for the last time, leading a rescue mission to recover Jareth from the Isle of Terror. Now, she and her husband seek to retire to the River Kingdoms in the hopes of raising their unborn daughter in peace...
